On April 12 at midnight Springfield Fire Company responded to an accident with a pole down in the 200 block of North Bishop Avenue. Engine 74 (Primos-Secane) was on location as the call was originally dispatched as Upper Darby. The fire company stood by on scene until PECO arrived and secured the wires that were down. There were no injuries and Springfield Police are investigating the cause. Shortly after returning to the station the company responded for another accident with a car into a pole in the 1200 block of Providence Road. The pole was split in half and there were no injuries as well. The fire company stood by until PECO arrived and retuned to the station.
